Farwell My Mini Penny

This is Penelope Elizabeth Cooper - my Mini Cooper - my Penny.

My Mini Penny

Only now I have to say goodbye to her.
She was my first new car.
She was a beautiful car, and I loved her.

But sadly even brand new she was always pretty sickly and no matter how many times I took her to the doctors at the dealership she was never completely healed.

So I have to move on - and it is heartbreaking.
I cried.  She is a car, but I cried.

But will be better in the long run I think.

Less stress, less money, less worry.

But still sad.

Thanks for allowing me this short diversion from crafting.

  3. I think my husband cried when he turned in his Eleanor. He wouldn't let me go with when he traded for the bigger family car. Eleanor had her issues too, unfortunately. So, it's OK that you cried.

  4. I still miss my 1986 VW Golf. Had her for 14 years. Bye Penny.

  5. I hear you, Bry. It is really painful to give up something that has been with you for the longest time, and most importantly, it was your first car. She looks very beautiful and stunning. I’m pretty sure a lot of buyers made an offer. But “Penny” is in good hands now, and you might see her on the road some time soon! [Kyle Schmidt]
