2011...a brand new year.
Hopefully it is full of happiness, color, quilting, family, friends, and creativity.
And just to start the year off right I spent the afternoon creating my inspiration mosaic for the 3x6 Sampler Quilt Mini Bee. I going burnt orange, navy, beige, and white. I can't wait to see what it turns into by years end after 4 quarters of participating in the bee.
I also spent the day organizing all the fabric I purchased last week while in Arkansas visiting my grandmother for her birthday. I went to 2 shops and found some insane deals!! Such as Tula Pink Hushabye yardage on sale for $5 and FQ for $1!!
I also managed to get my hands on 10 colorways of Kaffe Fasset's insanely beautiful shot cottons!
Other than that I just got a couple of FQ's...
Hmmm...maybe I should be participating in Angela's Fabric Diet...
Lol..I know what you mean....I could sell fabric now..have so much.....nice colours; btw...good luck with it
ReplyDeleteOk spill where did you get that Tula Pink for such a good price, I won't be back in Arkansas for awhile but I will make a stop for a deal like that. Hope the weather was not too bad while you were there, my mom was telling me about the tornadoes crazy!
ReplyDeletei can't believe you didn't call and ask how much you should bring back for your fellow guild members!
