HELP!!

So I need to make 2 boy quilts and don't what fabric to use! One boy is 2 years old and loves trains. The 2nd boy is on his way and will be gracing the world wit his presence in Feb.

So far the only like I have seen out there that is really boy appropriate is Sweetwater's Lucy's Crab Shack line.

Any other suggestions???

Any at all???

  2. Here's some with trains - Ready,Set, Go by Ann Kelle at the Fat Quarter Shop. Fabric.com has some Thomas the Train fabric too. Have you seen Bungle Jungle? Cute baby animals. If you google "train" fabric, you'll probably find lots more.

  5. So I actually really like boy quilt fabric. Especially Riley Blake's Minds eye lines of fabric. I like http://www.fatquartershop.com/Super-Star-My-Minds-Eye-Riley-Blake-Designs.asp?Shopper_id=60231231425316023&Store_id=499 best, I made a boy quilt from All Star which was very similar but different colors they also have on the go which has planes, and trucks and maybe trains http://www.fatquartershop.com/On-the-Go-Bo-Bunny-Riley-Blake-Designs.asp?sid=157912141731181579&Store_id=499

Oh and someone else mentioned jungle bungle. I too use this one for a little boy quilt and it was super cute. You can see the two examples of mine here http://jenniffier.blogspot.com/p/completed-quilts.html jungle bungle is near the top but all star is almost all the way at the bottom.

  11. How did the quilt go? I actually just bought some of the Crab Shack plaid for a boy quilt! When in doubt, for boys, I almost always use solids and skip the prints.

  12. *An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile.
